Bill that urges limitations on coal export passes in California Senate

AJR 35 passed in the California Senate on August 29th – this measure urges the President of the United States to restrict shipment of coal for electricity generation to any nation that fails to adopt emissions standards at least as restrictive as those in the US.  It also urges the Governor of California to advise the Governors of Washington and Oregon of the health risks to Pacific coast residents if large coal export facilities were built.  Full bill text is available here.
