Oregon Senator Merkley calls for programmatic EIS of proposed coal terminals

Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley joined the growing number of elected officials calling for a programmatic EIS for the proposed coal terminals in Washington and Oregon.  In his letter to the Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Land Management, Merkley asked for a comprehensive and expedited programmatic EIS for the proposed coal export facilities in the Northwest.
